Installation and Support

Agora provides database installation and support for websites and web applications.

Our database services include the migration of inhouse database applications to a web-based applications. In support of your new web-based application, Agora can provide database hosting and web programming to query, access and update your database. Agora can also develop web programs to interact with your database.

Our database installation includes the setup of the database engine. We can support OBDC, JDBC, Java, Pear and other API connectivity requirements.

We can also backup database systems, migrate databases, and provide a database conversion to a newly designed structure.

Data Capture

We can setup a web application to capture data submitted through forms on your website. The captured data can be accessed remotely through a backend interface. Data capture is ideally suited for employment applications, printed literature requests, and help-desk style enquiries.

Database Platform Support

We support conventional relational databases including mySQL, DB2, Oracle, Microsoft SQL server, and other smaller database engines. We support data conversion between platforms. We have experience with Linux/UNIX systems, IBM AS/400 systems, and Microsoft systems.

Remote Database Server Support

Agora can configure the database server to operate on its own hardware. Agora provides remote access support as required.
